Remember Me Premiere - 17th March 2010
Shall we talk about Robert Pattinson? Go on then. Let's cut to the chase: like every other sane woman on the planet, my heart stopped when Robert Pattinson walked into the school canteen in Twilight. Things only got worse when he smiled at Bella in the science lab wearing that tight grey T-shirt. This aside, I was fairly nervous faced with the prospect of meeting him face to face. Would he live up to the expectations? Yes, and then some.

Robert was tall - very tall. His nervous action of running his hands through his slightly-too-long hair is actually quite endearing rather than annoying (afterall - both Tom Cruise and Leonardo did the same thing - perhaps they teach it in Hollywood-school). The big moment? I managed to get my question in, despite the rest of the female journalists trying equally hard to steal Robert's heart, in mean, attention. And I made him laugh. Which almost certainly means we're meant to be. I had to stop watching this in front of my boyfriend after he threatened to move out - but continue to secretly enjoy our eye contact on regular viewings.

PS. Please enjoy Robert's lovely squeak before he answers me.

Thursday 8th July 2010 - Inception World Premiere
Leonardo DiCaprio - in the flesh. We were told before speaking to him that we would have one question only and that if we were interviewing somebody else when he approached us he would go round and not come back: "Leonardo never goes back". We ensured we had a clear run of two or three journalists in front just in case. And what was he like? Taller than I expected. And somehow even more handsome. I've only watched the video of him smiling at me several hundred times. Not too bad.

I also spoke to Ellen Page and Marion Cottilard. Marion was as beautiful in the flesh as you'd think, and very thoughtful. She took her time answering questions and seemed uninhibited by the media training that makes other celebrities rehearsed and stuffy. Ellen was just as tiny as you'd think. And very humble.

P.S. Here's Leonardo just after I interviewed him. Wondering if he picked the wrong girl? Sorry Bar.

On 22nd July 2010 I went to the Knight and Day premiere in Leicester Square and spoke (somewhat briefly) with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise. Cameron wore a sparkly Stella McCartney jumper dress. And extremely gorgeous she looked too. She's 37 and looking amazing - those legs are fantastic and her smile could light up any room. In person she was charming and friendly - even giving me an encouraging smile when I got a tad tongue-tied. Merci, Ms Diaz - you score highly on my celebrity scale.

So, on to Mr Cruise... He was taller than I expected. No giant but definitely not the tiny man I was expecting from all the hype. He was every inch (forgive me) the Hollywood star from the sparkling teeth to the floppy hair. And in person? Before our quick interview he shook my hand and asked my name and despite the PR's constant effort to pull him away he ensured I got to ask a question (the Italian journalist next to me kept jumping in on mine). Without doubt the most polite celebrity I've ever come across (despite being the biggest star) - I'd advise the rest of Hollywood seek out the person who provided Tom's media training and sign them up. Immediately. You can say what you want about his marriage to Katie but I'd move in with him tomorrow.
